The Croatian Fraternal Union (CFU) Lodge 954 of Hamilton, Ontario has been in existence since 1946 making it one of the oldest Croatian organizations in Canada. The CFU encompasses local Croatian communities (Lodges) through the United States, Canada and Croatia with a National Head Office located in Pittsburgh, PA. As one of the largest Fraternal Insurance companies in North America, a heavy emphasis is placed on preserving our Croatian heritage through a variety of social, sporting, cultural and educational programs, making the CFU a truly unique Fraternal insurer.

Locally, CFU Lodge 954 of Hamilton, Ontario has placed a priority on providing local students financial assistance to further their post-secondary education. In 1994, the Anne Eleyonich Scholarship Fund was established; named after the late and very beloved long time member and Lodge Secretary Anne Eleyonich. For the past 29 years, and by way of the Anne Eleyonich Memorial Scholarship Fund, our Lodge has provided over $94,000 in financial assistance to over 90 most deserving students.

For 2024, Our Lodge Executive has set an aggressive target to raise $50,000 to further grow our Scholarship Fund and to further continue to invest in our youth. Your financial contribution will ultimately provide more students the opportunity to further their post secondary educational studies as schooling costs continue to rise.
