To whom it may concern, my name is Teri Redmond-Ward, the founder of RAINIER BEACH H.S ADOPT-A-SENIOR (FaceBook Group) where 2020 seniors tell us about themselves and what their ambitions are after high school. They list items that they’ll need for their next journey in life. These needs are simple to some and a new beginning for the students. Most of these students come from a single family/low income household. Laptops has been one of the top requested item (behind gift cards for food). With this fundraiser I'm looking to buy 15 to 20 laptops with a warranties. Donations will be deeply appreciated. The more we raise, the more laptops we can give these amazing young people. Their future is bright, please help light their way. Facts: Rainier Beach is 97% minority with 75% on free or reduced lunch. 89% of these kids are graduating and a large number of them are going off to college.
