Hello family and friends!
We are reaching out to ask for your help with our sweet pup Rainey Roo. As many of you know, Rainey is a bouncy boxer, and all her bouncing has led to an unfortunate outcome…
After a particularly bouncy camping trip, Rainey returned home with a sore leg. While we hoped it might just be a sprain, the vet diagnosed Rainey with a fully torn ACL. Fortunately, Rainey is not in any pain right now, however, she cannot put any weight on her leg or bend her knee. Unfortunately, the only hope to repair Rainey to her bouncy self is an expensive ACL surgery.
We’re reaching out with the hopes that you might be able to help us pay for Rainey’s surgery, currently estimated to cost $5,000. We’ve set up this GoFundMe to ask for donations to her medical expenses.
If for any reason the surgery is less expensive than expected, or if we, miraculously, raise more money than is needed for the surgery, we will donate the remaining proceeds to a relevant animal charity (TBD at this time).
We know that Rainey has brought a lot of joy to you, just as she has done for us. She is a sweet, friendly pupper who loves nothing more than chasing frisbees and tennis balls and patrolling the warehouse where she goes to "work". We can't wait for her to be back on her feet -- all four of them-- as soon as possible! We are so incredibly grateful for any contributions you are able to make, especially during these tough times.
