It is with a heavy heart that I must say goodbye to, loving father and husband, Keith "Kiki" Parker. Keith Parker, who I love dearly, died suddenly on January 11, 2017. Keith and I were married for just two months still basking in the glow of our honeymoon one day shy of our two month-anniversary on the 12th.
He suffered a heart attack at work and was then rushed to the hospital, but died in transit. My heart breaks as I write this story because I must put words to print as I think about my husband's last few hours.
We did not have a Life insurance policy but started the process to obtain one about a month ago to make sure that we were covered, but the policy could not be issued. Then this week my sweetie suddenly died and I was hit with the realization that there is no money to bury him.
I am seeking to raise money so that I can give my sweetheart a proper burial to show that he was so loved, not only by myself, but by his daughter, his family and many, many friends that he left behind. Keith was such a giving and unselfish man who tried to help everyone and never wanted anything in return.
Due to high and unexpected funeral costs, the campaign money will be used for burial services, arrangements, flowers, etc. as well as other final expenses.
We would need the money by Thursday, January 19, 2017. Any amount you can give helps us tremendously, whether its $5.00 or $100, it makes this overwhelming and shattering loss more manageable.
