The City of Red Deer has approved the installation of two rainbow crosswalks at Ross (50) Street and Gaetz Avenue and Fargey’s Decorating Centre has generously sponsored the costs of paint and supplies, but funds are still needed to cover labour costs.

The crosswalks are a part of Central Alberta Pride Week  August 13-20, 2017. Help us paint the City Rainbow.

Fundraising Deadline is July 31, 2017.

We are often asked "Why not have Volunteers paint?"
Painting crosswalks is a City of Red Deer Employees job, union regulations and liabilies prevent Volunteers from painting crosswalks.
