In Memory of Teddy - Apple Juice Jones Studio Fund

In memory of our dear friend and the creative engine of Apple Juice Jones, Teddy Kradzinski, we are planning to preserve and release as much of Teddy’s unreleased work as possible, in one form or another. We were incredibly grateful for the support and love we received in putting out Rainbow Blues earlier this year and the record means so much more now that we can cherish it forever as a polished token of Teddy’s vision and genius. As many of you know, Rainbow Blues was really just the tip of the iceberg. Teddy was a truly prolific songwriter in his final years, and there is a mountain of unreleased music—in varying levels of completion—that we would love to share with you somehow.
We are incredibly grateful to Teddy’s family, including Sharon, Ted, Joe, Amy, and Alicia, who have been great supporters of the band over the years and are now continuing that support as we aspire to honor Teddy’s legacy. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Teddy’s memory to the Apple Juice Jones studio fund.
As mentioned, the unreleased work is in varying degrees of completion and will need various levels of work and fine-tuning to release publicly. Any funds you are gracious enough to provide here will go toward future recording and editing, including equipment, professional engineering expertise, studio time, and the talents of guest musicians who want to share in Teddy’s legacy. We also would love to organize some kind of live performance and/or benefit in Teddy’s name, and these funds could be essential in securing a venue for the celebration.
The “end goal” that these efforts will amount to is unclear at the moment. Something tells us that Teddy wouldn’t have worried too much about what that goal is anyway, as long as the heart was the guiding compass. But, please know that any excess or unused funds from this drive will be donated to a charity in his memory.
