Help Rainbeau out of an unsafe home

Dear Friends and Family,

     My living situation is changing dramatically and quickly, putting me in a chaotic and unsafe environment. Multiple strangers are moving in, to rent, as the owner prepares to leave. I have no say in the matter. The house is a small two bedroom and not designed for this type of living situation. 

   In two years, my rent has gone from $800 to $1,200 (a 50% increase) in an out of the way suburban area, where a car is a necessity. Every time I start to make more money and save a little, with the hope of moving out, I'm hit with another rent increase!!!

  I'm in a room above the garage, with no closet and no bathroom. It is freezing cold when the weather is below 70* and hot as an oven when above 70*. Last week, I passed out for three hours in my room from heat stroke. I finally woke up, with nausea and a headache, as the evening came and the room slightly cooled down... I stumbled outside for cooler air. 

     I need to move to an apartment immediately where I will be safe and have renter's rights. My hands are tied as a renter in a private home. 
 
  I want to live on my own in a safe and peaceful apartment. A place where I can focus on giving back to our community with my program for rape survivors, Healing Through Dance. 

   Unfortunately, I don't have the savings for immediate departure. It is time for me to move on. I need to be in a healthy environment and to do that - I need your help!!!
