Raina is a force. She is sunshine in the hearts of her friends and family.
Now she is facing a storm. Breast cancer.
At the end of October, (having JUST turned 40- 3 months prior, c'mon!) and a few months after finding a lump that was ever growing (as is her 2 year old, Griffin) due to the hormones that come with the nurturing gift of breastfeeding.
What we know:
Raina has been diagnosed with Stage 2B breast cancer in her right breast. She will be having a mastectomy sometime around the 20th of November.
Raina has her very own "A" team of Nick (loving partner), Levi (oldest son, age 15), Dylan (middle son, age 10- almost 11) and Griffin (just turned 2) and ALL OF YOU, she will have the LOVE she needs.
Life is already hard and even harder during the holidays! Surgery will be so close to Thanksgiving and Christmas is not far behind.
This means every dollar counts even more and will help fill in the gaps due to missed work days in addition to all the other challenges!
