Hi! Wir sind Ivy Lißack und Nina Kriszio und die Initiatorinnen des Spielfilms RAIN CHECK (AT). Der Film erzählt von zwei Frauen Anfang 30, die einander zufällig begegnen und gemeinsam eine Fahrt durch die Nacht, gesellschaftliche Konventionen und das Leben selbst antreten. Ein Coming-of-Age Film für Menschen in den 30ern. Eigentlich sollte man schon erwachsen sein, aber was wenn man sich noch nicht so fühlt?
Wir haben ein Drehbuch geschrieben, dass unsere eigenen Geschichten mit imaginären Begegnungen verbindet.
Mit an Bord ist ein großartiges Team von Menschen, die wir an unterschiedlichen Stationen unserer Leben kennen und schätzen lernen durften. Unser Projekt verbindet Menschen aus unserer Heimatstadt Landshut mit Künstler*innen aus New York, Mazedonien, etc.
Den Großteil des Produktionsbudgets finanzieren wir aus eigenen Mittel. Da wir damit aber nicht alle Kosten decken können, bitten wir euch um Hilfe.
Das Geld benutzen wir unter anderem für Reisekosten, Verpflegung, anteilige Leihgebühren des Technikequipements, Sprit und die Mietkosten unserer Hauptmotive.

Hi! We are Ivy Lißack and Nina Kriszio and the initiators of the feature film RAIN CHECK (WT).
The film tells of two women in their early 30s who meet each other by chance and together begin a journey through the night, social conventions, and life itself.
A coming-of-age film for people in their 30s.
Actually, one should already be grown up, but what if one doesn’t feel that way?
We have written a script that connects our own stories with imaginary encounters.
On board is a great team of people we had the chance to get to know and appreciate at different stages of our lives.
Our project connects people from our hometown Landshut with artists from New York, Macedonia, etc.
The majority of the production budget we are financing from our own means.
But since we can’t cover all costs with that, we are asking you for help.
We are using the money among other things for travel costs, catering, partial rental fees for technical equipment, fuel, and the rental costs of our main locations.
