On July 10, 2025, at 6:22 AM, Raimund Deininger passed away at the age of just 63. Together with his wife Louise Deininger, he co-founded the GYCO – Global Youth Conference Academy, a heartfelt initiative dedicated to empowering young people in Northern Uganda.

GYCO provides a safe and inspiring space for youth to learn, grow, and realize their full potential. In a region marked by conflict, poverty, and limited opportunities, GYCO gives young people the tools to shape their own future with confidence and dignity.
