Raider Steaks & Deli Fire (Scott Douglass)

UPDATE 10/30: Many of you might know me from the daytime/lunch/catering that I’ve helped Scott with during the past year. Scott and I have known each other since birth because of our parents, so that’s over 40 years of friendship. I am certainly not the only friend or family member that has helped Scott over the last year, so many have helped him create his dream way before I came along. I came in late but I’ve tried to help him make this adventure a success just like all of his family, supporters and friends. One thing is for sure, Scott has put his heart, soul and life into Raider Steaks. You may have known him prior to him opening the restaurant as a selfless community contributor. From coaching youth sports to helping the youth of Middletown in general. He continues to do this every month by hosting fundraisers for almost all of Middletown area youth sports and also Penn State Thon events. The unfortunate fire last night (10/29/20) has left all of his hard work in jeopardy. I created this fund to help Scott with any kind of support we can give him. His bills won’t end just because of this tragedy. His responsibility to his family won’t end because of the fire. He hasn’t asked me to do this for him but I thought that we could all try to ease his burden just a little bit during this time. So these generous funds that you all have been donating will be given to him to stay afloat and hopefully get his life back. I cannot thank you all enough for your outpouring of support for him.
