My name is Tabetha, and started this fundraiser to support my brother Sam and his family. Sam's wife, Shanee, and their two kids were visiting relatives in Seattle, WA, when their youngest, Raiden, suddenly became very ill and was admitted to Seattle Children's Hospital with stage 5 kidney failure. He is currently stable and receiving dialysis while doctors work to understand the cause. Inevitably , Raiden will need a kidney transplant.

Sam flew out right away to be with his family, which means lost work time and unexpected travel costs. I'm hoping to help ease some of that financial burden so they can focus fully on Raiden and his recovery.

Personal note:

When Sam was little, he was always giving the "thumbs up" in photos. It was automatic. Life hasn't always been very "thumbs up" for our family, but as you can see, the vibes stay positive. The family is remaining positive and hopeful, and Sam has passed that spirit on to his beautiful boys. l'm just so grateful for any love and support that is shown towards my family.
