Raíces, which means “roots” in Spanish, is a community brew-pub delivering high quality craft beer, Latin-American food and entertainment to connect our guests through culture. We believe that culture is an asset and we will share it within our project. Raíces fuels Latino senses in everyone, and crafts cultural connections that enrich our community.  We will be opening a brewery in the beautiful and rich neighborhood of Sun Valley in Denver. The welcoming community historically has been home to multicultural groups and the Denver Broncos Stadium. Latinos account for more than 1/5 of Colorado's population, yet inequalities such as income, opportunity, achievement, health and education gaps are keeping them from producing optimal results and quality of life. It is important for our city to have businesses owned and operated by underrepresented groups since the high level of gentrification is pushing them away. Less than 0.5% Latinos are owners/managers of craft breweries nationally although the Latino consumers are key of increasing sales projections in the industry. Thanks to many community stakeholders we have been able to jump start the project with the vision to open next Summer 2019. WE ARE ALMOST THERE AND NEED YOUR HELP. The funds being raised will help us acquire the $250,000 brewing equipment. And yes, as you can imagine this is key for our business. Mentorship Programs - To leap us forward we will provide mentorship for up and coming brewers, business entrepreneurs, and future cultural and event coordinators to help build skills and acquire the tools and knowledge necessary to be successful in life.  Platform for others Raíces will be a platform for artists, Latin food trucks, community groups, and families through Raíces programming.
