Estonian handicraft in USA - travel expenses
Tax deductible
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit the ECSC's event Kaaruspaelast Labajalavalsini, and any donation will help make an impact. All the donations are going directly to cover the teacher's travel costs and are tax deductible. Teachers are coming all the way from Estonia.
As a group, these teachers are full of knowledge, and they have a lot to share. This event will be beneficial for the sharing of knowledge that goes back centuries. At the same time, these teachers will benefit from a trip out of Estonia to experience life in the USA and to meet other Estonians in America.
While the opportunity to share the knowledge is great, it would be also beneficial if we could share some funds to help offset the travel expenses incurred by this event. You cannot put a price on the learning opportunity and experience that will be generated from this event.
There will be a total of 6 teachers coming. Tickets from Estonia in June cost over 1000 dollars. In addition to the ticket cost, the teachers have to pay for travel insurance, local transportation, food and other expenses while in the U.S. More about the teachers: https://rahvaroivad.ee/en
The event in June 2023 will be a culmination of the 2-year program where our local ladies from multiple states across the USA learned about their heritage and made their very own national costumes.
Updated information about the event can be found at the ECSC Facebook event: https://fb.me/e/2FL6MSVXP
