With the heaviest hearts, we are sharing that our beautiful sister, daughter, and friend Rahana passed away suddenly at just 35 years old.

Rahana became critically unwell with sepsis, which progressed devastatingly fast despite intensive care and every possible medical intervention. She fought so hard, but her body was simply overwhelmed. Our family is still in shock at how quickly everything changed.

Rahana was funny, caring, unapologetically herself, and incredibly talented. She was a freelance illustrator and artist who poured her heart into her work and into the people she loved. Creativity wasn’t just her job - it was her joy and her identity.

We have set up this GoFundMe to help our family through the immediate and unexpected costs following her passing, including funeral arrangements and practical expenses, and to give our parents some space to grieve without additional financial pressure.
