Ragtime - Brief Cameo Productions

Donativo protegido
In November of 2018, our founders, Jim Clark and Mike Walsh, came upon the idea of producing a concert version of "Ragtime" - Lynn Ahren, Stephen Flaherty, and Terrance McNally's musical adaptation of E.L. Doctorow's epic novel of America at the turn of the 20th century - both as a way to showcase the talents of the performers in their lives, and as a response to the America of the 21st century.

We've been fortunate to assemble a cast and team from around the country to present the one-night-only performance at Connecticut's historic Ivoryton Playhouse in January of 2020.  But putting on even just a concert of a musical is no small task, artistically or financially.  Licensing fees, theater rental, lighting, designers and performers (we do not believe in paying people in "exposure"!)...that all costs money.  We're working on many ways to raise funds, including this campaign.

If you feel so generous as to support our production, we offer the following perks (each level includes the perk for the levels below it):

$5 – our undying gratitude

$10 – a thank you on our Facebook page

$15 – thank you in the program

$25 – thank you from the stage during the pre-show curtain speech

$50 – playbill signed by the company

$75 – poster signed by the company

$100 – We will reserve you 2 center aisle seats, the most demanded seating location at the Playhouse (limited availability)

$115+ - We will contact you about special ways to say, "thank you."

Thank you in advance for any amount you can contribute, and we hope to see you in January!!
