Raging wild fires in Macedonia

Hi my name is Sue Eastwood and I am Macedonian living abroad my entire life.

Like many of you, I try to keep up with what is happening in our homeland , Macedonia.

Currently there are wild fires ravaging our glorious Macedonian forests and destroying the ancestral homes of thousands of residents.

Macedonian villages face several challenges because of their remote locations and limited access to firefighting assistance that might have been available elsewhere.

Parents must gather their children, livestock, and run for their lives.

The prospect of starting over is daunting.

With our help, we can support the local resources set up to assist those that will need our help the most.

This is a catastrophic event, and we must find it in our hearts to help in any way that we can.
