Hi everyone,

As you likely know by now, Kevin was hit by a falling tree during the storms on June 19th. He was trying to quickly finish up work on a pool and was putting things into his work van when it struck him and the vehicle, demolishing the van and shattering his ankle, ten bones in his hand, tearing off part of his scalp, and giving him a concussion (falling trees are no joke!).

I'm starting this GoFundMe for Kevin because a bunch of folks have been asking for it, and also because I am anxious about Kevin's recovery knowing that he lives alone and his friends all have full-time jobs and can't really help him out during the day with things like getting groceries and cooking meals. His family is also really far away (South Africa), so even just getting to medical appointments will be a challenge for him during recovery. I'll feel better knowing he's able to pay for support (ubers, deliveries, etc.) and who knows how much the medical co-pay bills will be in the end.
