On December 12, 2020 my family got the worst news imaginable. My one and only sibling, my baby sister was in a horrific accent on her way back home. She went to San Marcos to go buy her two baby girls dresses for her to take family christmas photos with. On her way back home, she was on the phone with her husband when she felt her tire pop. Her husband called our mother worried telling her that he was having a conversation with her and then all of a sudden she just didn't answer anymore. And that all he can hear was cars passing.. We don't know exactly what happened but  her vehicle came to a stop on an I-35 construction site where there are only 2 lanes with barriers and no shoulder to pull off to. So my sister got out of her car I don't know if to check her tire or to try to cross to get out of harms way but within those few seconds, she was hit by a car.  None of us knew anything. My mom called me worried asking me to call my sister because she wouldn't answer her husband or her. So I did and no answer. Her husband then went out to look for her, found her there but it was too late. She had already been pronounced dead at the scene. My beautiful sister.... my only sister. At age 21. Taken from us. You can only imagine what my family is going through right now. So this Gofundme is for those who knew Karla and even those who didn't.  Who if they find it in their hearts to donate to her funeral costs and/or her little family she left behind. She had 2 daughters one age 4 and the other 1. But most of all even with no donation, please keep my family in your prayers. Because God knows the main thing we need right now in these hard times is comfort for this pain we feel. Thank-you to everyone for your condolences. We pray for strength and comfort.
