To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Rafi Gir, and I am a senior at Katz Yeshiva High School. Over the past few years, I have grown into a proud and committed Jew, constantly striving to strengthen my connection to Torah and mitzvot. such as going to Kollel and Sunday morning shiur where I learn about the halachos of kashrus. But I know my journey is far from complete. That’s why a gap year at Netiv Aryeh is so crucial to me—it’s the next step in my growth, both as a learner and as a bochur.
Spending a year immersed in Torah in Eretz Yisrael will give me the opportunity to deepen my understanding of Talmudic concepts, expand my religious knowledge, and develop the character and discipline I hope to carry with me as a future husband and father. This isn’t just a year of study—it’s an investment in the person I am striving to become.
However, my family’s financial situation makes this dream difficult to achieve. Growing up as one of nine siblings, I have learned the value of independence, hard work, and financial responsibility. I’ve worked and saved as much as possible, but despite my efforts, I still need help to make this year a reality.
With your generosity, I will have the chance to flourish—to dedicate myself fully to learning, personal growth, and building a strong foundation for my future. Any support, no matter the amount, brings me one step closer to making this dream come true.
Thank you for your kindness and support!
Best,
Rafi Gir
