Hi, my name is Arthur, and I am setting up this fundraiser on behalf of my good friend Joseph who I met during my time in Tanzania, in 2021. Joseph is an extraordinary man who, along with his wife Josephine, runs a school and orphanage where he feeds, educates and cares for 139 children. Since my visit they have funded and built a new primary school to continue the children’s education and give them a better chance of reaching employment.

Unfortunately, a recent storm on the 3rd of December has caused significant damage to one of the primary school roofs, tearing it off and destroying much of the wooden support structure. Luckily, no children or teachers were in the class or hurt at the time. However, this destruction has caused obvious financial issues for the Rafiki school. It is difficult for Joseph to set up a gofundme from Tanzania, therefore I am setting this up on his behalf. I’ll be transferring all donations directly over and show all proof. December is a difficult month for finances but if you can give anything it’d be much appreciated.
