Rafe's eye surgery fund

I am starting this Go fund me account for my best friend Jessica and her husband Sam.  They have an amazing baby boy named Rafe.  Rafe is in need of an eye surgery to strengthen the muscles in his eyes to keep them from crossing.  He needs this surgery before he turns 18 months old to give his binocular vision the best chance to come in properly.   There are no neuro opthamologists in our city.  Jessica and Sam have already gone to Houston twice to meet with a neuro opthamologist that is able to perform this surgery.  They have a surgery date set for May 25th. Unfortunatly, insurance has denied coverage for this much needed surgery.  They are in need of $8,000 for this surgery that Rafe needs in order to see.  Because he needs this surgery before he turns 18 months old, starting over in a new city would be very difficult.  If you are able to donate, you will be helping this wonderful family provide this life changing surgery for their son.  Rafe has been such a fighter in his short life and Jessica and Sam are the most loving, supportive parents and like all parents, they want what is best for their son.  Jessica has fought insurace companies before but unfortunately the insurance company is not budging on this issue.  It is imperitive that this eye surgery happen for Rafe so he is able to lead a full and happy life.
