Rafal's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
In December last year my husband Rafal suffered catastrophic injuries at work when he was crushed between a lorry and a minibus. The accident resulted in him having his right leg amputated, left leg nerve damage and a terrible pelvic injury - but most critically he is now waiting for urological reconstruction surgery urgently so he can get back to his job as a lorry driver.
Unfortunately his surgery that was booked through the NHS has been repeatedly cancelled and the waiting times due to COVID are particularly long for this operation. Which is why I am asking for help.
Our 14 month old son, Bartholomew, and I can't wait to have Rafal back to being able to enjoy all the things that we used to - like house DIY and family bike rides. I literally can't wait to watch him be able to rough-and-tumble like he used to with our son.
