Hi, my name is Maciej and I started this GoFundMe to help the family of my late friend who tragically passed away on December 22nd leaving his wife and two kids behind.

Karolina and her two children visited her husband Rafal, who was staying in the USA over Christmas.

On December 22, they were on their way to see their family in Ocala for Christmas Eve.

Their car, which was carrying 7 people at the time, was struck by another vehicle.

Rafał - Karolina's husband, and father of Pola and Igor tragically died on impact. Only five people survived the crash.

The family's life was turned upside down by the accident. When nothing can fill the emptiness in their hearts after the loss of their beloved father and husband, we can show them some support through this fundraiser.

Unfortunately, the accident is not the end of the difficult emotions and unfamiliar experiences, which are still lying in store for them. Karolina is currently forced to stay with her children in the United States, having to deal with an overwhelming amount of formalities. She is also facing a lot of expenses related to her return trip and the funeral she wants to organize in Poland. Karolina is a strong and resilient person, but the help of a psychologist will be necessary for her and, above all, for the children. This involves high costs for which the family is not prepared.

Let's help them navigate through these traumatic events and show them support in returning to a new, more difficult reality.
