Hiiiiii, my name is Kristen Jimenez. This is my dad, Rafael Jimenez. I’m writing this with the heaviest of hearts, but my dad unexpectedly passed away on February 10, 2024. He was a United States Army veteran. Which means they will help out with the burial, however, they don’t help with the memorial arrangements. This was something that I was unaware of and was not prepared for. I’m asking for help to be able to put him to rest. Anything helps. All funds will go towards the memorial services.
If you ever met me you know how much my dad means to me. He was my world. You also know that I will do anything for this man. I still have not fully grasped the concept yet but I understand I need to get things moving.
If you ever met him you knew what kind of man he was. He was a kind soul who welcomed everyone with open arms and made sure you felt included. He leaves behind three kids and their friends whom he took in and cared for. He was a family man that had a strong sense of purpose. One of his love languages was feeding people. This was his way of communicating. If you ever visited, you were welcomed with a plate of fruit or food. You were probably handed a drink named pink panties during a bbq. You were probably lucky enough to enjoy his ribs, potato salad, deviled eggs, pozole, albondigas, basically anything he made in the kitchen was bomb. He loved animals, he would take time out of his day to feed the squirrels and rabbits. He loved his ninja cat, and puppies, Bella and cookie. He would buy treats for his friends pets too. He was the biggest Raiders fan known to man. Every Sunday we stood home to watch football. Every superbowl we had a party, where we invited everyone over to watch football and eat lots of food. Always made sure people knew the Los Angeles Raiders were the first la team to win a Super Bowl. He was a man who would always put everyone before himself. So, I want to make sure I can make him proud and send him off correctly. Please donate anything you can, I will greatly appreciate it.
Thank you,
Kristen Jimenez
