Unexpected Covid-19 Death of Rafael Espinoza

On December 30th, 2020 Rafael Espinoza unexpectedly passed away due to Covid-19. He entered the hospital December 15th and was admitted to the ICU.  A week later he was placed on a ventilator, and he was forced to say his goodbyes to his loved ones. He kept telling his family to take care of his long term companion, Lourdes, and his daughter, Lulu. After 14 days in the ICU he passed away due to the virus, at the age of 64, without getting to meet his two week old grandson because he was in the hospital. 

Rafael is survived by his wife Lourdes, they have been married for 31 years. The loss of her husband creates a financial burden as she is not able to work due to health reasons. She is awaiting kidney transplant. The Espinoza family needs any support we can give during this time of grieving as they try to adjust to life without Rafael, whom was a brother, uncle, father, husband, friend, and grandfather.
