Support Launch & Promotion of – “Music Has No Boundaries” – and lend a hand in spreading the message.
I grew up in South Africa. During and after university, I dabbled in the music industry and radio before becoming a diplomat, representing South Africa in Beverly Hills (Vice-Consul), Pretoria/Cape Town (Spokesperson), Karachi (Consul General), Abu Dhabi (Ambassador), Pretoria (North Africa Division) and finally Ramallah (Ambassador), where I made a comeback to radio, marrying diplomacy and media on 93.6 RAM FM. I am now a published author and a communication & media consultant.
MUSIC HAS NO BOUNDARIES is the story of 2 radio stations – 93.6 RAM FM: a pioneering English radio station in Palestine and Israel that played music; to connect, entertain, inform, and bring people in conflict together, and RADIO NISAA FM: the first women radio station in the Arab world, that is empowering women and changing men’s perceptions.
Two inspirational stories, about two radio stations, and the role music plays in crossing boundaries, drawn by political and social conflicts.
MUSIC HAS NO BOUNDARIES shall be released this Spring, in America. I live in East Jerusalem, and I need to be there, to launch and promote it.
Funds raised by this campaign, shall cover:
INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT: Tel Aviv/New York return: $1,300
INTERNAL FLIGHTS: $1,000
PUBLICIST: $5,000
ACCOMMODATION - Airbnb: $1,200
GROUND TRAVEL - $500
TOTAL: US$10,000
BY CONTRIBUTING TO MY CAMPAIGN – you will lend a hand, as I share two unique stories, to an America – recently divided by an election - how a group of South Africans, Palestinians, Israelis, Americans, British and Australians, on 93.6 RAM FM, overcame physical and human barriers with music, found common ground, crossed boundaries, and brought people together.
And today, Palestinian women on NISSA FM continue the story …
