Rae's Leg Surgery

Hello!

Sue is in need of help paying for necessary surgery for her sweet dog Rae.

Rae is just over a year old. She was adopted from Heavenly Angels Animal Rescue, an organization that rescues dogs in Puerto Rico and elsewhere.  She loves to run, jump and play hard with other dogs. All that fun came to an abrupt end because she recently ruptured her cranial cruciate ligament in her left rear knee. The ligament is one of several in the knee that connect the femur to the tibia. Her injury is painful and until the surgery she is restricted to no walks, no stairs, no jumping onto any furniture, and no playing with other dogs. In other words no puppy behavior! Needless is say she is not a happy gal. The Veterinarian has advised that rest alone will not heal this injury, and surgery is the only option so Rae can live a pain-free and able-bodied life. The surgery cost is estimated at $5,500, an amount that neither of us are able to secure.

Rae is just a dog, but I love her dearly and really want for her to live out her life happy and healthy.
