My name is April Caram, I am a coworker of Beth who is the mother of Raelynn, a 16-month old who was diagnosed with a brain tumor on June 6th. On June 8th this little girl had a 9 hour surgery 95% of the brain tumor was removed which leaves 5% of the tumor still intact. Raelynn will need further medical care and to undergo cancer treament and further surgery to remove the rest of the tumor and eliminate any remaining cancer cells. This will require her to remain at Dana Farber hospital for 6-8 months. We will have more information from the oncologist team and treatment plan on June 27th" Raelynn’s parents Beth and Billy are devastated and have not left her side since the surgery. During this critical time, leaving her side is an unbearable thought and being with her is an important part of her recovery. Raelynn is happy when she is with her parents. This has been an overwhelming experience for this young family and the financial stress is now starting to bare down on them.
