Single mother, Raelynn Sorrells along with her 9 year old son and 7 year old daughter suffered a tragic house fire Monday morning May 22, 2023.
The house fire took 100% of everything this family of 3 owned. It was deemed a total 100% loss in 4 minutes. This family has been displaced and left with only the clothes and shoes they had on to start their day.
Every personal item this mother and 2 children lost is heartbreaking. Raelynn is left without her personal necessity's like her glasses and contacts and car keys wallet. A priceless curated Barbie collection of 30 years, picture of family, and so many priceless life momentous captured in film burned. Her son, Zeyden 9, and daughter, Hazel 6, suffer a huge loss of every comfort they have ever known. Every toy, movie, art medium/supplies, PS5 game consul, Oculus VR headset Zeyden received for his 9th birthday at the beginning of this month.
Thankfully there was no injuries and all parties are in full health. This page is being set up calling on the Lincoln community to rally and assist Raelynn, Zeyden, and Hazel in an attempt to rebuild their lives. This fire was a 100% loss and displacement. The 3 of them are requiring a new place to live. The Kabredlos Property owner has told her there is no legal obligation to continue the renter/tenet relationship and have evicted the family. furniture, clothes, shoes, mattresses, bedding, pillows, blankets, bedroom dressers, kitchen table, couches, kitchen dishes, pots pans, bathroom towels and immediate amenities. Raelynn will need transportation assistance on top of having to find a new place to live all while the required legal action takes place. Any amount towards the goal set by the family is greatly appreciated and will give them an opportunity find and create a home once again. Let’s rally to this cause and help this mother and kids find some semblance of normalcy as soon as possible!
