Raedon Recovery Fund

On October 9th, 2021 Raedon Sarot was involved in a horrific automobile accident leaving him with a back broken in three different places, a shattered and protruding clavicle, multiple broken ribs, a punctured lung, lacerations on his face and head, and a punctured skull with injury to his brain. Since then Raedon has undergone multiple surgeries. Plastic surgery to his face, head, and ear, two rods were placed along his spine to stabilize the breaks in his back, and his clavicle was pieced together and reset with a plate. He has had multiple MRI's, brain scans, and 24 hour monitoring in the ICU.

Raedon is 17 years old and a Junior at Montgomery High School in Santa Rosa, California. He maintains a 3.6 grade average. He loves riding dirt bikes, playing football, going to the beach, and playing with his dog, Sarge. He is a good son, brother, and grandson. He is a hard worker, very respectful and responsible. He would give you the shirt off his back and go to the ends of the earth to help you. Anyone that knows him well would agree.

Over this last week his parents Brent and Renee Vogel have been by his side in rotation 24 hours a day helping to monitor his recovery. Both of them are self-employed and have cleared their schedule indefinitely so they can be an advocate for his ongoing care. Needless to say this can be draining, emotionally, financially, and physically. No parent should have to go through this alone. Truly, no parent should have to go through this at all.
