Our beloved daughter, sister, auntie and friend Raechel Schuldenrein, tragically passed away, at the age of thirty three..

We are still waiting to understand the how and why, but what we do know is it Rachael passed away on September 14, 2025, while traveling out in Oregon.

Raechel is survived by her mother KC, sister Lee, nephews and extended family.

Rae has always been wild and in the wilderness as much as possible. She danced and danced, brought tremendous joy, passion, and wonder to her kindred. If you showed up, present in the moment, with an open heart, it was easy to be kindred with Raechel.

Always on a musical quest, appreciation, enthusiasm, and wonderful photography to share of her favorite bands.

It has taken us some time to get to this notice , and still…
There are now, the practical parts. The funeral homes, cremation, transportation of remains; there is getting her truck and her dog back to Vermont and paying off some things so that all is not lost.

We are asking for your help to complete these things.

At the beginning of the summer, she left home in Vermont to travel out west, something that was a dream of hers for a long time. She worked very hard to save money, bought and repaired a pickup truck and camper, and created a beautiful home for herself on the road. She and her dog Zuma made their way to Oregon, having adventures along the way, sending home amazing pictures, videos, and stories. She was a truly magical person who touched the lives of everyone she met, and this world will never be the same without her.

For Rae and her magical family, consider making an offering of a flower and a prayer to the wind.

We are asking for help with expenses related to her cremation and a memorial, and to get her truck and camper back to this side of the country. The truck and camper were extremely important to Raechel, and likewise it would mean the world to us (me and her sister Lee) to get them back, and make it so that I can keep and maintain the vehicle that she put so much love and work into.

Words cannot describe the depth of our loss. We are truly grateful for any help that you can offer.
