Radtour für guten Zweck: Mainz -> Santiago, ESP

60 Tage. 2.500km. 1 Kerze. Viele Träume.

 Für die Kinder der Hoffnung Granadas: Mit dem Rad vom Mainzer Dom zur Kathedrale von Santiago de Compostela


Hallo liebe Freunde, liebe Unterstützende,

gemeinsam mit Eurer finanziellen Unterstützung, möchte ich vom 02.06-31.07 mit dem Fahrrad von Mainz, GER über Frankreich ca. 2.500 km nach Santiago de Compostela, ESP fahren.





Im Gepäck habe ich ein sogenanntes Opferlicht, welches ich im Mainzer Dom gekauft habe und das ich in der Kathedrale von Santiago nach meiner Ankunft anzünden möchte, um auf die Kinder der Hoffnung Granadas aufmerksam zu machen.





Ich möchte auf meiner Reise bei Locals übernachten und Ihnen von Nicaragua und unserem Fundraiser berichten.

Wie manche von Euch wissen, habe ich insgesamt 10 Monate in Granada, Nicaragua gelebt und dabei Land und Leute kennen und lieben gelernt. 
Mitte April 2018 gab es einen Umbruch in Nicaragua, verbunden mit anhaltenden Protesten, die mich dazu zwangen, nach Deutschland zurückzukehren. 



Ich habe über www.betterplace.org/p66198 angefangen, einer lokalen unabhängigen, unpolitischen Freiwilligengruppe zu helfen, die ich persönlich kennen gelernt habe und deren Projekt mich überzeugt hat: "La Esperanza Granada" – „die Hoffnung Granadas“
"Die Hoffnung Granadas" wurde gegründet, um den ärmsten Kindern der Stadt eine Chance und Zukunftsperspektive zu schaffen durch Nachmittagsunterricht und zusätzliche Bildungsangebote.



Durch diese wohltätige Radtour hoffe ich auf Aufmerksamkeit und weitere zahlreiche und großzügige Spenden für unseren Fundraiser.

Ich habe 25€/Tag für Kost&Logis einkalkuliert, in der Hoffnung, auf Camping-Plätzen und bei netten Menschen unterzukommen, daher das Spendenziel von 1.500€. :-)

Ich werde alle 1-2 Tage einen kleinen Statusbericht + Foto auf fb und Instagram posten, um Euch auf dem laufenden zu halten.

For the Children of the Hope of Granada: By bike from the Cathedral of Mainz to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela



Hello dear friends, dear supporters,

Together with your financial support, I will cycle from 01.06-31.07 by bike from Mainz, GER via France approx. 2.500 km to Santiago de Compostela, ESP.



In my luggage I have a so-called sacrificial light, which I bought in the Mainz Cathedral and which I will light in the Cathedral of Santiago after my arrival to draw attention to the children of Granada's hope.

 I want to stay overnight with local people and tell them about Nicaragua and our fundraiser.

 As some of you may know, I lived in Granada, Nicaragua for a total of 10 months, and I got to know and love the country and its people.
In mid-April 2018, there was unrest in Nicaragua, coupled with ongoing protests that forced me to return to Germany.



I started a fundraiser on www.betterplace.org/p66198 to help a local independent, non-political volunteer group that I met in person and whose project convinced me: "La Esperanza Granada" - "the hope of Granada"
"The Hope of Granada" was founded to give the poorest children of the city opportunities for a brighter future by providing afternoon- and additional education.



Through this charitable bike ride I hope for attention and other numerous and generous donations for our fundraiser.

I have budgeted € 25 / day for food & lodging, hoping to stay in campsites or with locals, therefor the donation target of € 1,500.
