Radiosurgery for Aida Nehme

And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you? And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’ Mathew 25:39-40

This is the case of my (Leyah's) mom Aida. Last year, she was diagnosed with lung cancer and we raised funds for her surgery which was 100% successful. She was completely free from cancer and in remission.

Unfortunately, two weeks ago as I visited mom, I saw that she was struggling to talk. And I also noticed her stuttering through a phone call. She thought that it was because of her teeth (which are damaged from the inhaler she was using). However, it was obvious that it was more neurological than physiological.

We directly contacted her doctor assuming it was a brain stroke, not doubting that it would be cancer. I am grateful that the edema formed, as this was the reason we realized she has a small cancerous tumor (11mm) in her brain.

The tumor found was metastasis from her lung showed up now, and because it is still small, brain surgery would do more harm than good as the surgeon would have trouble locating it.

The best option is to do a radiosurgery. She needs 1 session only and in 20 minutes she can be cancer free again! The combined cost of this treatment and her expected hospital bills is 3,900 USD. Please support her.

Unfortunately, because of the economic crisis in Lebanon, hyperinflation, the crumbling bank sector, and political instability in Lebanon, her insurance won't cover these costs and we do not have the funds to cover it.

After my father's death last April of cancer she has been feeling alone. Break her loneliness even with $1 so we can raise the funds for her radiosurgery.

I do believe that God will heal her and I pray for everyone who will take part in her healing. And we hope we will celebrate her being cancer free agin.
