Saving up for a FM radio station frequency

June 2017, I started RADIO FOR A CAUSE, LLC, a business venture that wanted to build character and confidence for individuals with disabilities. I jumped right into looking for sponsors and advertisers. I found some that just wanted to help because they believed in the cause. Thanks to businesses like Sweetwater, the AWS foundation, and Partners in Autism, we launched our first online network, The Spectrum 23.9, on Sept 7, 2018. The Spectrum 23.9 has been currently giving individuals with disabilities a voluntary opportunity on air. I started in my parents' basement. My life changed completely, and I wasn’t sure what was next.
Since then, I have been able to hold on to members like Jacob Bradtmueller (co-host of Sunday Remix, Jake's Picks and sports director), and Kayden Gordon (host, The Kayden Gordon Show.) Kayden has became a huge part of the team by helping me manage the station. Recently in the summer, we've also picked up two new on-air personalities Lisa and Robert Kramer, who have taken our program as a beneficial to help Robert with his communication skills. They all truly believed in the cause. In May 2020, Spectrum 23.9 went through a format change and I’m so excited to share it with you. It’s a collection of songs from the 70s and 80s and a new mixture of country music was added as well. Also, I had the privilege to continue my partnership with the AWS foundation and the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne. Jacob Bradtmueller's success has helped him with his job, Kayden Gordon's success has helped him grow in his education and also it helped grow his confidence.
My hard work is equally honest and simple, and I am proud of that. If you would like to support my future vision of Radio for a Cause, just know whatever amount you choose will help us lease a building to conduct our business in a professional manner.
