my name is Karl, and I help DJ’s solve the most tricky technical issues, find solutions for the most challenging quests, explain things you never understood before in a way that you’ll be able to explain it to your grandpa afterwards, and he’ll be able to understand it
I‘ve been recognized as a source of knowledge in the global scene since 2011
- Hacked DJ software numerous times to allow or create new features
- helped design, among other things, the first serato DJ Controller, the Pioneer DJ DDJ-SX
- invented the ice headshell which lead to the invention of Phase trough DJ Stresh and the product by MWM
- I got diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2017 and I built a proto for one hand fader and record movement, to make up for the misbehaving left hand.

I need a new one
Fortunately, I got a full-time job now and don’t rely on DJing for my income, have a lovely daughter and a wonderful supportive wife.
But
I spend most of my income on providing for the family , medication, personal help assistants and other health topics.
Parkinsons is a real challenge.
I need to work less to have enough energy to raise my daughter, and need more money to pay for the help I require
long story short I can’t justify buying a new MacBook Pro in the configuration I would need it, from money designated for my family.
on the other hand, I can’t help you solve your issue, if I don’t have a recent model myself to understand what the isssue is.
