Radical Optimism Fundraiser & Challenge
Hi, thank you to everyone who donated - the fundraiser is now closed :)
A Little Optimism Goes a Long Way! ☀️
Hi , I have been feeling excitement towards this upcoming summer, and I have been inspired by Dua Lipa’s latest album, ‘Radical Optimism’*, to start a charity fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Support and also create a challenge to go along with it. This fundraiser is close to my heart because it will help Macmillan Cancer Support provide essential care, practical advice, and emotional support to people affected by cancer.
The challenge is simple, to find 3 things in your life that you would like to work on everyday, in an effort for them to become habitual, that will bring you happiness, joy and a little bit of optimism.
Personally, I’ve set myself three goals to achieve by the 21st June 2025—the day of a Dua Lipa concert in London—when I’ll celebrate the end of my goals with a summer celebration! My goals are to:
1) Pass my Exams in April
I’m dedicating myself to focused study sessions and staying organised, to keep learning every day (results out early July).
2) Stick to a Consistent Workout Routine
I’m committing to a structured fitness plan that blends cardio, strength, and flexibility training to steadily boost my endurance and health.
3) Run a Half Marathon in London
To truly test my progress and celebrate my journey, I will be running a half marathon in London the week before the concert, to mark a major milestone in my fitness journey.
Everyone is different, so I encourage you to find a timeline and goals that works for you, but, most importantly, please take a moment to think about all the positive changes you can implement in your life by taking part in this challenge and the impacts that it can bring to those around you.
Thank you for visiting this fundraiser and hopefully you set yourself some goals :)
