So yesterday, before surgery, my doctor explained to me that if he could not cut all of it out do to the location. That he would abort the surgery and we would proceed to radiation treatment for 6-8 weeks 5 times a week with chemotherapy done as well in intervals. The type of cancer I have has an 85% survival rate and life expectancy of 5 years or more. I'm still thinking positive. I have an appointment with the radiation Dr on Tuesday to get things started. Now to recover from friday. Swollen tongue and very see sore throat. Due to not being at my current job for a year. The Family Medical Leave Act doesnt apply to me. So I'm not sure if I will lose my job yet. I will keep everyone posted as I know more. Again, thanks for all the love and support. The support and love that all of you have given me has been extremely helpful and greatly appreciated. But now I must ask for more. I have exhausted all of my leave time and I am not sure if my work is going to hold my job position open. Without any further income, I need financial help. This is very hard for me to do, but the last thing I need is become homeless while going through my necessary treatments of radiation treatment and chemotherapy. Please share this with family, friends and anyone you think might be able to help me in my time of need.
Sincerely and greatly appreciated.
