Radiation For Reno

Donation protected
My name is Reno, a few years back I started getting weird headaches and some pretty interesting memory problems.  Advil and Ginkgo Biloba did not seem to cut it and after the first time I blinked and completely lost six hours, which I imagine I spent drooling on myself staring at the wall.  I realized I really needed to get things checked out.

After many tests and trips to the doctor, I was eventually diagnosed with a low grade form of brain cancer called Oligodendroglioma that develops from glial cells called oligodendrocytes.

I first went through light chemotherapy treatment with limited success, my cancer was reclassified as High Grade.  I then moved on to Stereotactic Radiosurgery using the CyberKnife System, which is basically a program, controlling a giant robotic microwave gun nuking my tumor like a potato.

While health care covers a majority of my medication, and I manage day to day expenses with assistance from my family.  As an “ Exceptional Candidate “ as my uncomfortably handsome oncologist put it, I am on track to be in full remission and get an NED( No Evidence of Disease ).  The hang up is that the radiation treatments are not in the slightest bit cheap.

I try to always give, and help other people.  So it is a strange place for me to be, asking for help and I am sure pride comes into play here too.

But, I can’t tough it out anymore because, I need help.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, if you can donate I would hugely appreciate it as you’ll probably be saving my bacon.
