Radiation After Brain Tumor Removal
Following brain surgery it was confirmed her tumor spread to the bone and adjoining tissue, requiring her to now undergo daily radiation starting in November for a minimum of 6 weeks (30 visits). We are hopeful the radiation will stop the growth and spread of her grade II tumor.
In addition to her health, Jenna has faced incredibly trying times financially. She lost her job of seven years in April at the height of the Covid pandemic. She luckily has insurance; however her deductible is $7,800.
Our family set the goal of $9,000 for Jenna to ensure she can cover the cost of her medical bills and the co-pays associated with the daily radiation. Additionally, we feel it's safest if Jenna commutes to her radiation by Uber given she has restricted driving due to double vision and dizziness. Any remaining funds will go towards a ramp that we would like to have built from her kitchen to her garage which will allow her to access the area with her walker.
Those of you that know Jenna know this was no easy feat to get her to agree to a GoFundMe. She is traditionally the one everyone leans on.
