Childcare for Kora and Quin!

Samantha Radovanovic suffered an unfortunate injury stepping onto the sidewalk in downtown Milwaukee. She slipped on the ice, fell, and broke her leg in multiple places. Sam has to undergo surgery to set her leg and will be unable to care for her children independently for at least 12 weeks.

Sam is a stay-at-home mom, and Nick is the sole breadwinner. Because Nick is self-employed, he doesn't get paid if he doesn't go in to work. While Nick and Sam are fortunate to have some help caring for the girls, they're hoping to hire a short term, in-home nanny to help lessen the burden on grandparents and extended family to care for them.

We're raising money to help offset the cost of childcare. Sam is 100% responsible for the girls' childcare ordinarily, so this is not an expense they have budgeted for. They hope to be able to bring a caregiver in 2-3 days a week to supplement the care offered by family.

Helping Sam feel confident that her children will receive the necessary care and attention they deserve even if she can't provide it 100% herself will be a huge relief and will help Nick focus on putting time in at work to pay the bills!

Nick and Sam are so grateful for all your support thus far with meals and offers to help. This is an urgent need for them now that they have a timeframe for her recovery.
