Ray Mack’s Car Accident

Hello everyone, my name is Nicholas Furnia I’m setting up this gofundme for our dear friend Ray. On April 22nd during a terrible rain storm, Ray was in a very serious car accident. As you can see his car was totaled and but for airbags and modern auto tech, he might have not survived.

Ray has multiple leg, knee and foot fractures in addition to hairline rib fractures at his sternum and abrasion burns from the airbags. The injuries will require orthopedic surgery (resetting bones and an ACL repair) and will require months of rehabilitation. The good news is that he will recover, yet the accident has incapacitated Ray's right leg, and he is suffering from chest and back pain. During his recovery, he will not be able to return to the work he loves as a Registered Nurse.

It breaks my heart to see such an awful, freak accident happen to such a wonderful person. In Ray's work as a cardiac telemetry/acute care nurse, he helps people daily. His passion for helping those in need is what drove him to become an RN. And as anyone who knows Ray personally, he is in constant service to those in his community.

Ray is always there for his friends, loved ones, and family -- he would give you his shirt off his back to help someone in need. Now the time has come for us to help Ray out.
