Hello, my name is Bree and I have a chronic condition that causes arthritis in my joints, causing pain, swelling, and locking. I have worn walking boots on both feet for the past four years, and I have been in and out of a wheelchair during the last four years as well. To date I’ve had 3 surgeries on my right ankle and are awaiting surgeries on my left ankle, knees, and legs.

To date I’ve been involved in volleyball, cheer, and softball as a manager. I’ve been given a wonderful opportunity to join the Prairie du Chien Track and Field team in the wheelchair division. However, I need a specialized wheelchair for racing, called a racing wheelchair.

Funds will go directly toward this wheelchair ^

My goal is to receive the wheelchair by late March so I can practice with and get used to the chair by April.
