I’m raising funds for Reece Handley, a child who is fighting cancer. I lost my mother to cancer, and tonight I am racing in her honor to support Reece and help with the very real costs that come with this fight.

The funds from this fundraiser will go toward direct support for travel, lodging, and food connected to Reece’s hospital visits. Those visits are needed to help maintain Reece’s health, and the expenses that come with getting to and from care can add up quickly for a family already carrying so much.

Starting this fundraiser now matters because the race is tonight. I wanted to use this moment to do something meaningful in my mother’s honor and to stand behind a child who needs support right now.
