Rach's trial by fire

My name is Jack Bradford.

As some of you may know, my wife Rachel Bradford is going through the hardest time of her life. Since she was 24 weeks pregnant she has been sporadically wheelchair bound, she has one of rarest most painful diseases in the world and she has been dismissed, ignored and been treated absolutely disgustingly by the NHS and been told it is all in her head.

Her skin goes black, blue, red and blotchy. Her skin is boiling hot to touch, she feels like she is burning alive all day every day. She has spasms, loses feeling in her feet, toes, hands and legs, which means she loses use of those limbs for a certain amount of time every day, she has no control over this.

Due to the way she has been treated she has PTSD, severe depression, suicidal thoughts, depression and anxiety. Her condition is also known as ‘burning man syndrome’ & ‘the suicidal disease’ as people would rather not be around than live with this pain. People ask for their limbs to be amputated due to the pain.

A gofundme was set up a while ago and which we are so incredibly grateful for, this got Rach some private appointments and some special fans to help her keep cool so she feel less like she is burning alive day to day.

Our son is now a year old and Rach has had the pregnancy and the first year of her son’s life taken away from her due to this disease and chronic pain she is in every single day.

Now that the Drs are ignoring our calls, emails etc burying their heads in the sand as they have ‘never seen a case so severe in the UK’ (their words) we are looking to get help ourselves, we can’t do this alone, any help is really appreciated.

Please help our family raise awareness for Erythmaralgia and CRPD and help my wife get back to her bubbly happy self and beat this cruel life changing disease.
