For Rachna

Hi to family, friends and colleagues of Rachna,

My name is Kaitie and I'm a good friend of Rachna's.   As most of you know, Rachna was admitted to Toronto General Hospital for 5 weeks, including 2 weeks intubated and ventilated in the ICU, due to a new diagnosis of Myasthenia Gravis.  She is (thankfully!) now home and recuperating, however we are not sure when she will be able to return to work.  Furthermore, our health care system doesn't provide coverage for a lot of the allied health care she will need in the weeks/months to come. 

I know everyone has wanted to support her and the calls, emails, videos, cards, gifts and visits are invaluable and continue to be welcomed.  However, if you're interested and able, please consider a financial donation to help Rachna with lost income and medical care costs.

Rachna is a brave, resilient, brilliant advocate for herself and her patients.  Let's support her as best we can as she navigates this new diagnosis and recovery.
