Rwanda Volunteer Trip

Hello! I am an adventurous high schooler from Sherwood, Oregon, and I am going to Rwanda for 10 days in January 2017 with my local church. Africa New Life offered this incredible opportunity to the church a few months ago, and me, my mom, and some other folks signed up to go! The money is for myself (not both my mother and I) and will be handed over to Africa New Life for them to cover airfare, meals, transportation, the guest house in Kigali, and etc. Once there, we will go to the community where my church sponsors kids, teach God's powerful word, and spread lots of hope and love. This trip will be life changing for me and will empower and give just so much hope and comfort to the kids we visit. My mom sponsors a child in the community there; she is 11 years old and I can not even wait to hug her and her family. Not only will this trip help so many people in Rwanda, but it will enlighten me so much and, admittedly, look amazing on a college application. I’m seriously considering becoming a translator, and some cultural immersion in Africa would be amazing. However, I am going mostly for the kids in Rwanda, not myself. Please, please, please donate to my trip fund so that I can touch the lives of many, including my own. Thank you.
