Rachel’s hurricane disaster

Hi, my name is Nikki and I’m trying to raise funds for the disaster that Hurricane Ian brought upon Rachel. She currently lives and works in Orlando Florida and we all saw the news and flooding that took place during the storm.

Rachel is one of the most amazing people that I know. She always there for everyone else and now it’s time for people to be there for her.

Durning Ian Rachel’s apartment flooded. There was over a foot of water floating through her apartment. She was trapped in the flood waters in her apartment until the storm was over. Once it was over it was time to asses the damage and there was quite a bit. Not only were things ruined but the apartment itself had a lot of water damage. Once her landlord assessed the apartment he deemed it was “unlivable” while they do total reconstruction on the unit.

This has now left Rachel displaced while having to find somewhere new to live and fast.

While normally this wouldn’t be such a big issue she was out of work due to being sick the week before the storm then was out from the storm. This means she lost out on a lot of pay.

Most places want first month, last month, and a months security deposit. This is where we can help.
