Rachel's End of Life Expenses
Donation protected
Rachel has spent her life caring for others - family members, friends, clients, and everyone in between. If you know Rachel, then you know she tends not to ask for support. However, now is your chance to help. Facing a terminal diagnosis after living with ovarian cancer for over 5 years, Rachel would appreciate donations to ease the burden of end-of-life expenses. She has been given 1-5 months, but it seems it may happen sooner rather than later.
Message from Rachel:
Where do I begin? The words feel stuck in my throat, my mind still having a hard time believing what I’m about to say….
The time has come for me to take my exit and say goodbye to my time on this awesome earth. While I have fought with every ounce of fiber in my body, my body has decided it’s tired and no longer wants to fight. We have done all that can be done at this point in time and sadly more things continue to go wrong than right so over the holiday weekend I was officially diagnosed as terminal and given a timeline of 1-5 to live. I will still receive fluids and electrolytes to help maintain me as best as possible, but beyond that there will be medical intervention of any kind. I am truly thankful for all the people who have continued to reach out and check on me throughout the years and for those who have stepped up and sent gift cards for food when I’ve been ill. I cannot express how much I will miss this life, but I am at peace with this. Thank you all again for everything.
