Rachel's Dad (Tom McQueen) End of Life Expenses

My daughter Rachel's Dad, who lived with her and her two young sons, passed away unexpectedly last Thursday evening while doing outside chores. It breaks my heart that she continues to struggle through the heartbreaking pain of so many family deaths in her young life. She has given strength and support to so many, and I hope we can ease her financial burden by helping her with her Dad's cremation/memorial and other final expenses while she tries to cope with her loss.

He was someone I (and everyone else) could always count on. Someone to pick you up when you were down. Someone who was there no matter the distance or circumstances. He had jokes for days and could make a friend in the most random and desolate places. He was my biggest fan from day one and that love and support continued when my boys came into the world. He was the best teacher, friend, dad, and grandpa anyone could ask for. My heart is so, so heavy knowing I will never hear his laugh or see his smile again. I don’t get to see him continue to teach my boys things that only a grandpa has patience for. I don’t get to apologize for all the times we butt heads the past few months. So many what ifs are going through my mind. So many if onlys. I’m a little lost right now and I’m not sure things will ever feel “normal” again. I miss him with every fiber of my being, but I am so glad he’s been reunited with my brother.

Please pray or send good vibes our way. The boys lost a best friend two nights ago and I lost another piece of my heart. This has been an incredibly rough year for us. Life won’t ever be quite the same.
